Greeter Ministry

A Greeter’s liturgical role is to set the stage for an affirming and grace filled liturgy.  The Greeter Ministry provides a friendly, warm and sincere welcome to our faith community at the week-end liturgies.  Greeters provide assistance to those parishioners or visitors that might require special help.  They answer questions that new parishioners or visitors might have regarding our Parish community.

A quarterly schedule is mailed to each volunteer.  Each greeter has a personal name tag to facilitate the introduction process for visitors and new comers.  The printed name tags are located in alphabetical file containers in the usher’s coat room.  Welcome cards are also located near the name tags which include Pastoral Center address, phone numbers and website information for newcomers, visitors or anyone requesting this information.
