Religious Education for Grades 1-8:
The religious Ed. grades 1-8 meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:30p.m. at the Holy Name School secondary or primary building. The series used is CHRIST OUR LIFE. The program is sequential and develops an understanding of the basic teachings of our Catholic faith. If you enjoy working with children then this volunteer position is for you. We have teaching positions open for grades first through eighth grade. The second grade teacher will be responsible for getting the students ready to make their first confession and first communion. You can team teach with another volunteer or you can do it alone. All the materials will be provided which includes a lesson plan for each week. If you would like to to teach or help contact Renee Cudney, the Religious Ed. Coordinator at 672-2848 ext. 17.
