Altar Linens

This in-home ministry involves caring for altar linens by laundering and ironing of the purificators, corporals, altar linens and towels used at every Mass.

Because of their functions, Purificators and Corporals absorb some of the Precious Body and Blood; so, it is a privilege to care for linens that were touched by the Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ.  

“While my arm and the iron take the creases out of the linen cloth, I hope that the Lord is taking my personal creases from me and blessing me with His love and grace.”

Commitment:

• Weekly for a particular month during the year.

• NO MEETINGS INVOLVED.

• Training/Instructions provided.
