The house of God deserves to be the most beautiful place on earth! The purpose of the environment ministry is to create an atmosphere in the church that enhances the holy experience of the Mass. The church is cleaned, then adorned (rather than decorated) according to the liturgical seasons, feast days and solemnities.
Some of the activities of the Environment ministry include:
- Clean the church
- Care for plants and flowers
- Adorn the sanctuary for the holy seasons
- Wash and press linens
- Sew and mend albs, banners, etc.
